In the deep processing production of steel pipes, the precision drawing machine is the core cold processing equipment that differs from the hot rolling and precision rolling process. Compared to the high-temperature forming process of precision rolling mills, precision drawing mills mainly focus on cold drawing at room temperature, mainly for secondary finishing of rolled steel pipes to compensate for precision deviations and surface defects of hot-rolled pipes. They are essential core equipment for our factory to produce high-precision and high smoothness precision steel pipes. Multiple equipment units work together to ensure the precision processing and production of batch pipes.

The chain type precision drawing machine equipped in our factory has a regular volume and stable structure, suitable for large-scale precision pipe production. The overall structure of the equipment is a floor standing heavy-duty rack, and the length and width dimensions of the body are suitable for the processing needs of small and medium-sized steel pipes. The whole machine has a heavy weight and excellent shock absorption performance during operation. The equipment is equipped with a frequency conversion traction system, a mold fixed workstation, a hydraulic clamping device, and a precise speed control system. The overall layout is compact and reasonable, which can adapt to the processing of short and fixed length pipes, as well as achieve continuous precision drawing of long-distance steel pipes. The equipment has strong adaptability and production flexibility.

The body and core components of the precision puller are made of high specification industrial materials to ensure long-term high-precision operation of the equipment. The main frame of the equipment is made of thickened high-quality cast steel, which is poured and formed as a whole. It has strong overall rigidity, tensile resistance, and deformation resistance, and can withstand the high-strength tensile force of long-term cold drawing operations. It is not easy to cause problems such as body shaking and displacement. Key wear and tear components such as core pulling molds, mold seats, and clamps are made of high chromium alloy wear-resistant steel, which has undergone multiple quenching and carburizing hardening processes. It has the characteristics of high hardness, wear resistance, extrusion resistance, and resistance to deformation, which can ensure the accuracy of pipe pulling for a long time and significantly reduce the frequency of mold replacement and production costs.

The core working principle of the precision drawing machine is room temperature plastic cold drawing deformation, relying on the precise shaping of the mold aperture. At room temperature, the equipment is used to pull and pull the steel pipe to forcefully pass through a fixed specification precision pipe pulling mold. Through the constraint effect of the mold aperture, the outer diameter and wall thickness of the steel pipe are subjected to micro extrusion and shrinkage correction. During the stretching process, the metal fiber structure of the steel pipe continues to become dense and refined, effectively eliminating the residual looseness and fine gaps in the hot-rolled pipe, synchronously correcting the roundness and straightness deviations of the pipe, and achieving fine sizing and shaping of the pipe.

Our factory's precision drawing machine operation process is standardized and orderly, with tight process connections. Firstly, pre-treatment is carried out, including acid washing, phosphating, and saponification treatment for processing waste pipes and hot-rolled pipes to remove surface oxide scale and rust, while forming a lubricating protective layer to avoid scratching the surface of the pipes during the drawing process; Subsequently, match the corresponding high-precision mold according to the finished product specifications, fix the equipment workstation, and adjust the traction speed and clamping force; After completing the debugging, shrink the end of the pipe, insert it into the mold, and fix it on the traction clamp; Start the equipment and uniformly pull the pipe to complete continuous cold drawing forming; Finally, the pulled pipes are straightened, cut off, rechecked for size, and surface inspected to remove defective products.

The finished steel pipes processed by precision drawing machines have excellent quality and outstanding advantages. The finished pipe has extremely high dimensional accuracy, controllable errors in outer diameter and wall thickness, and meets the standards for roundness and straightness. The inner and outer walls are smooth and flat, without oxide scale, scratches, or cracks, and the surface smoothness far exceeds that of ordinary hot-rolled steel pipes. The products cover categories such as precision bright tubes, precision mechanical tubes, hydraulic oil tubes, instrument tubes, etc. The materials are dense and uniform, the mechanical properties are stable, and the accuracy level is high.
