Product Overview：
Honed tube is the raw material for manufacturing hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder barrels. Base material is cold‑drawn seamless steel tube, inner bore finished by two mainstream processes: honing and SRB skived & roller burnished.
✅ Honing Process Inner bore is finished by abrasive honing stones, forming cross‑hatch oil‑retaining texture. Cost‑effective solution for general‑purpose hydraulic cylinders.
✅ SRB Skived & Roller Burnished Process Skiving removes material allowance then roller burnishing compresses inner surface. Better surface density and finish, preferred for heavy‑duty high‑pressure working conditions with higher cost.
Key technical parameters:
Inner diameter tolerance: H7, H8, H9 (H8 & H9 widely adopted for cylinder application).
Inner surface roughness: standard Ra ≤0.4μm, high‑precision option Ra ≤0.2μm
Good straightness, roundness and cylindricity to avoid piston jamming and seal premature wear.
Available Materials: Carbon steel: AISI 1020 (20#), AISI 1045 (45#) .
Alloy steel: 27SiMn, 40Cr, AISI 4130, AISI 4140, QT quenched & tempered treatment optional for high‑pressure service .
European grade: E355 (ST52) .
Stainless steel:TP304, TP316L for corrosive environment
Applicable.
Standards:GB/T8713, DIN2391, EN10305‑1 / EN10305‑2, ISO 10204‑3.1 material certification.
